Penguin's ski club Ostrava was established in 1992. The priority of our activities is a most professional approach to teaching skiing to children. We draw on years of experience in the field.

Our coaches are university-educated teachers or instructors organized in the Czech Ski Association and IVSI (International Association of Snowsport Instructors).

Autumn and spring training activities take place on trikkes and in-line skating in the Komenského sady park located in Ostrava. Furthermore, children go through gymnastic, motor and physical training in a gym.

Skiing training begins by autumn training camps on a glacier. During the main ski season (December, January, February, March), children attend four week-long ski camps in Italy. The last ski camp is organized in April on a glacier.

Summer season (holidays) is focused on two bike camps and a 10-day fitness camp in Croatia by the sea which includes water sport instruction.

Although our efforts primarily focus on sport skiing, we organize a series of public ski races for children.
